A CROSS-SECTIONAL INVESTIGATION OF SLEEP HABITS AND SELECTED BODY COMPOSITION PARAMETERS AMONG UNIVERSITY STUDENTS
The study's objective was to compare sleep quality and body composition between male and female participants. A cross-sectional study was conducted with five hundred participants (male and female) from different community places. Body composition was measured with the help of a bioelectric impedance device.

Low skeletal muscle mass is associated with arterial stiffness in community-dwelling Chinese aged 45 years and older
Evidence suggests that body composition has impact on arterial stiffness. However, evidence in Chinese are limited, and results remain controversial. The aim of our study is to investigate whether skeletal muscle mass is associated with arterial stiffness in Chinese community-dwelling men and women aged 45 years and older.

The role of body muscle mass as an indicator of activity in inflammatory bowel disease patients
Malnutrition is an objective disease activity parameter for patients with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), particularly Crohn's Disease (CD), and is an indicator of lesion expansion or inflammatory activity. Our aim was to identify malnutrition parameters associated with more pronounced metabolic status changes in IBD patients (i.e., classified as by low and high clinical activity) as an indicator of disease activity.

Are Body Composition Parameters Better than Conventional Anthropometric Measures in Predicting Pediatric Hypertension?
Body composition (BC) parameters are associated with cardiometabolic diseases in children; however, the importance of BC parameters for predicting pediatric hypertension is inconclusive. This cross-sectional study aimed to compare the difference in predictive values of BC parameters and conventional anthropometric measures for pediatric hypertension in school-aged children.

Therapeutic Effects of Garlic on Hepatic Steatosis in Nonalcoholic Fatty Liver Disease Patients: A Randomized Clinical Trial
Emerging evidence suggests that garlic (Allium sativum L.) and its bioactive components can mitigate hepatic steatosis by the modulation of hepatic lipid metabolism. We aimed to assess the efficacy of the garlic administration on hepatic steatosis in patients with NAFLD.

Sarcopenia and Associated Factors among Thai Community-Dwelling Older Adults
Older people suffer the greatest number of fatal falls worldwide. Sarcopenia is one of the geriatric syndromes that increases risk of falls. However, there are limited studies among Thai older adults which address risk factors for this condition. Here we evaluate the prevalence of sarcopenia, and measure associations with risk factors among Thai community-dwelling older adults.

Assessing causality between childhood adiposity and early puberty: A bidirectional Mendelian randomization and longitudinal study
Obesity and early puberty have been reported to be mutually causative. We investigated the causal relationship between adiposity and early puberty by performing bidirectional Mendelian randomization (MR) and longitudinal data analyses.

Impact of obesity on central processing time rather than overall reaction time in young adult men
The association between weight status with simple cognitive tasks such as reaction time (RT) may not be observed in young people as cognitive functioning development has reached its peak. In the present study, we aimed to examine the association between overall and central adiposity with overall and central processing of RT in a sample of young adult men with different weight status from Ardabil, Iran.
